Well, in Minako's case, she buys way too much food and crazy expensive clothes. And then, after eating a box of donuts by herself, proceeds to collapse on a park bench, bags strewn on the ground in front of her. And then she starts complaining loudly, making faces.]

Ughhh. I'm gonna puke.

[Despite this, she looks very pleased with herself, even though she's wearing a bunch of her most expensive purchases, tags still attached, with no real focus on whether or not they actually go together. The girl needs Jesus. Someone stop her!]

[Minako jumps slightly, and immediately regrets it as her stomach protests. She's about to deliver a snappy and no doubt super clever retort (nope), but then she spots the odd creature who just addressed her and stops. What is this.]

[ kanaya screws up her lips and shrugs slightly. she's dressed very fashionably tyvm. ]

[ kanaya glances down at her skirt, then back at minako with a bit of a sneer. ]

I was trying to be polite, [ hahahahaha ] but now I'm beginning to think that you really are blind.

[Minako mimicks the sneer. It's totally terrifying.]

Who asked you, anyway!

[ she lets out a huff, why does this girl have to be so resistant to her help? ]

Go around dressed like that, you're bound to invite comment. At least I had the decency not to laugh behind your back like everyone else.

[She glances down at herself. It's true that she doesn't... Match... But she was just super excited for her new stuff okay!]

[There's a pause, and then Minako whispers conspiratorially.]

Is it really that bad?

[ kanaya shakes her head ] Darling, I'm a professional, it's my job for people to care what I think.

[ but how professional she might be is hard to say, she can't be more than a year older than minako, after all. ]

It isn't wholly unsalvagable, I don't think, but it will need some rearranging. I wouldn't have engaged if I weren't willing to offer my consult.

[ she puts a hand on her chin, giving the outfit another once over. ]

First thing, if you're wearing that top, you'll want a different pair of shoes.

[ she points to minako's bags. ] What else did you get?

[Minako scoots one of the bags, from a shoe store, toward Kanaya.]

[ kanaya moves off to the side, out of the way of foot traffic, before she starts checking through the boxes, giving each a fair appraisal with a thoughtful hum. eventually, she finds one that catches her fancy. ]

[Shinji's first though is this is the most well dressed homeless person he has ever seen.

Then he takes a second to look her over.]

[Despite her previous whining, she grins up at him. She looks a lot like a really smug cat right now.]

Honestly? No, I couldn't. People who sleep on benches usually aren't.

[She snorts, rolling her eyes.]

I'm not sleeping! I'm eating!

[Shinji arches an eyebrow, suddenly filled with even more questions.]

Uh, okay. I guess it's a good day to do that kind of thing in the park...

[She winks, digging in her bag for a candy bar this time.]

[The wink is enough to get him to look away for a second, because then he realizes just how pretty this crazy girl is.]
